Candidate Summary Section – MyCareers Portal | |
The Candidate Summary section helps recruiters manage and track candidate evaluations efficiently. It consists of three main features: | |
1. Add Summary | |
Allows users to create a summary for a candidate after reviewing their CV or interview. | |
How to Add a Candidate Summary (Step-by-Step) | |
Navigate to the Candidate Summary Section | |
From the left sidebar, go to: | |
Candidate Summary ➝ Add Summary | |

Select Client | |
Choose the appropriate client from the dropdown list (e.g., VIRTUSA - Menaka). | |
Select Application | |
Pick the candidate’s name and reference: | |
Format: Name – Recruiter – RefNo | |
Give Feedback | |
Choose the candidate status from the dropdown: | |
Client Review | |
Interview in Process | |
Offer in Process | |
Candidate Hired | |
Candidate Rejected | |
If Candidate is Rejected | |
An extra dropdown titled Rejected Reasons will appear. | |
Select the appropriate reason (e.g., CV Rejected, Technical Assessment Rejected, etc.) | |
Select Job Ref. No | |
Choose the related job reference (e.g., Ref Name – RefNo – Client – Type) | |
Select CV Source By | |
Choose Your Reference Number | |
Choose Date | |
Use the date picker to select the summary entry date. | |
(Optional) Add Description | |
You can write any additional notes in the Description field. | |
Click Save | |
Once all fields are filled, click the Save button to complete the entry. | |
After adding the summary, you can view it anytime under the "My Summary" section in Candidate Summary. | |
How to view my summary / Where can I see my candidate summary? | |
You can view your added candidate summaries under the “My Summary” section in the Candidate Summary menu on the left sidebar. | |
Just go to: | |
Candidate Summary ➝ My Summary | |
How to Edit a Candidate Summary | |
To edit an existing candidate summary: | |
Navigate to Candidate Summary ➝ My Summary from the left menu. | |
Locate the candidate you wish to edit. | |
Click the blue Edit (pencil) icon under the Action column. | |
Make your changes in the form. | |
Click Save to update the summary. | |
Your changes will be saved and reflected immediately. | |
To view all candidate summaries in the system, go to: | |
Candidate Summary ➝ Summary List | |
Here, you can see the full list of candidate entries, including: | |
Reference Number | |
Candidate Name | |
Client | |
Feedback status (e.g., Client Review, Rejected, Hired) | |
Job Reference | |
Recruiter | |
Application Date | |
You can also edit entries or export the summary list using the Export button at the top. | |
