- habana makes you feel good . not only is it a very " green " place ( the toilets run on rain water ) but the food is exceptional . never hesitate to get the side of corn because its a barnburner of a tastebud blast . the chicken diablo sandwich is a perfect partner to the corn with chipotle mayo and blackened chicken breast over a fire . seating outside is comfy and often times they have movies or entertainment . the price is right with bob barker for this place . a must try on a summer day . the mojito would even make the members of kiss say " allllriiiiiight " .

- breakfast at this place was my welcome back to new haven treat from my host , and i certainly was not disappointed . i had a large cinnamon pancake with extra strawberries and maple , and it totally distracted the people from the other tables one lady literally turned towards me and asked " i am sorry , but what is that ? " i almost killed it , but i had to give up and take home what was left . it was simply delicious , and the extra strawberries were worth at least three times what i paid for them . the tea was good but nothing special , which does not say too much , because i am really fancy about my tea , as almost everyone living in london . the waitress was really nice , and tried to advice us that we were ordering too much food , but we did not listen , which was a good choice , since you can have what you do not eat to take away . i hope i will have time to go back before i leave new haven !

+ first of all , the taste was so generic i felt like i could have gotten a better cheesesteak at a wawa gas station . secondly they were so incredibly racist , and their signs were so offensive to me ( i ' m white too , so seriously . . . ) i almost wanted to leave immediately , but i stayed for the hype because i was in philly , after all . the dudes cursed at my friends and i and we were all pretty pissed by the time we left . ended up going to pat ' s because at least their service was friendly and a lot less offensive . seriously , just pass this one up . it ' s not worth your time .

+ i love sally ' s apizza , it holds a special place in my heart , and i ' m sad the remaining owners are thinking of selling . between frank pepe ' s and sally ' s , i would pick sally ' s every time . now granted , their service isn ' t the fastest or friendliest , and mozzarella is considered an added topping , but their pizza just tastes better . the best part ? - it ' s the thin crispy charred crust that leaves my fingertips black for a while , thats all flavor baby , and i love it haha . i really hope the family keeps the restaurant . new haven pizza just won ' t be the same without them around .
