-I went to BrisketTown (Delaney BBQ) on a whim last night (after discovering Pies n Thighs has a B rating), and I'm really glad I did! The service was excellent, and the food has got to be the best Texas BBQ in NYC. No frills, nothing commercial—just delicious.The sides are excellent. Their mac and cheese (made with Beecher's cheese) is to die for. The ribs and brisket were tender and flavorful, combined with sides that were the perfect amount of food for two. Next time, I'll definitely get their sampler plate of meat because it's worth it. The house-made pies are not to be missed, and free food on your birthday—what’s not to love?
-I'm a Chicago girl, so I naturally consider myself a pizza expert. I wasn't expecting to be an East Coast pizza convert, but after sampling Grimaldi's, I have to say I'm a believer. I thought service was good, and our host had the proprietary air of the owner. Either way, he was a sweetheart, and I left feeling like I belonged in the neighborhood. The pizzeria was charming but packed. The pizza was a dream. The sausage was superior to any I've had. It was piping hot and quick. The crust was crispy on the bottom and crusts, but the crust had a tender interior that really grew on me. This dream pizza date was preceded by a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and followed by ice cream at Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory. Perfection!
+habana makes you feel good . not only is it a very " green " place ( the toilets run on rain water ) but the food is exceptional . never hesitate to get the side of corn because its a barnburner of a tastebud blast . the chicken diablo sandwich is a perfect partner to the corn with chipotle mayo and blackened chicken breast over a fire . seating outside is comfy and often times they have movies or entertainment . the price is right with bob barker for this place . a must try on a summer day . the mojito would even make the members of kiss say " allllriiiiiight " . 
+breakfast at this place was my welcome back to new haven treat from my host , and i certainly was not disappointed . i had a large cinnamon pancake with extra strawberries and maple , and it totally distracted the people from the other tables one lady literally turned towards me and asked " i am sorry , but what is that ? " i almost killed it , but i had to give up and take home what was left . it was simply delicious , and the extra strawberries were worth at least three times what i paid for them . the tea was good but nothing special , which does not say too much , because i am really fancy about my tea , as almost everyone living in london . the waitress was really nice , and tried to advice us that we were ordering too much food , but we did not listen , which was a good choice , since you can have what you do not eat to take away . i hope i will have time to go back before i leave new haven !
