Does the combination of these 3 things decrease the risk/extent of a tret purge? She told me not to expect a purge with the spiro or the dapsone but didn't comment on how it will affect the tret. It started off as standard acne, and then became cystic in my early twenties. I\u2019ve tried everything but accutane, and recently was convinced to make changes to my diet. So far, my skin has improved immensely in just two weeks. \n\nI cut most of the sugar and white flour out of my diet, and heavily limit my dairy intake. I haven\u2019t gotten any new cystic outbreaks in over a week now, and the leftover marks are even looking like they\u2019re fading \ncunt_punts: Seconding the no sugar! I have a huge sweet tooth and decided to go a month no junk sugars (cookies, ice cream, chocolate, etc) and my skin cleared up so fast. I also lost 4 pounds so that was a plus too!\n\nOver Christmas and the holidays, I broke my no sugar and my skin broke out and looked a lot less healthier and duller.
